This 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air Bubbletop 2-Door Hardtop Coupe is the epitome of “trailer queen” from top to bottom. It has been professionally restored with the highest attention to detail and has won many local car shows. Every inch of this car is pristine. You really could eat off the bottom.
According to the VIN, the car was originally built in Canada. It ended up in a local collection that we know well with a 409ci V8 that replaced the original 6-Cylinder the car came with. He then sold it to another collector in 2010, our client, who had the car professionally restored over the past three years. Southside Auto of Hastings did an incredible job refinishing the original white paint, while our client completely restored the interior in red. The car is nicer in person than it is in pictures. No excuses and nothing to hide. As stated, it is powered by the desirable 409ci Big Block V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with a 3.73 Posi rear end. The car has been completely dialed in. It starts, runs, and drives true. Only 153 miles have been recorded since the restoration as it has been mainly driven to shows and/or parades. It demands attention wherever it goes.
